To: Shelly Anderson, European Organization for Nuclear Research
From: Frank Giordano, WARP Team Leader
Subject: Results of Mission #5 to Coldwell, Ontario and Genoa, Italy on mission dates January 15, 1941 and August 3-19, 1940.
Executive Summary:
- Pre-mission analysis revealed T event occurred at altitude of (-25) feet, near Port Coldwell, Ontario, Canada on June 30, 1941.
- On arrival at target location, found no access to T site. Returned to 2033 to survey area, located underground cavern with ancient collapsed entrance.
- Opening cavern revealed Native American artifact with deep red T tag. Research revealed item was defiled holy item. Took item to future saint in Genoa, Italy, who re-sanctified item. After ceremony, item’s T tag turned green. Mission successful.
Post-Mission Debrief:
Pre mission:
- T event occurred 25 feet below ground level, near Port Coldwell, Ontario, Canada on June 30, 1941, at a time when the village was deserted, but a nearby POW camp existed.
- Because the event was recorded below ground level, assumed basement/underground access to site. Possibility of T event being an escape attempt by POWs through a tunnel was deemed non-existent, as camp was 4 miles distant; however, could not rule out the possible involvement of escaped POWs.
- Arrived prior to T event to survey the situation and either:
- Set up surveillance on the area of T event, or
- Find a way to prevent T event from happening.
First Jump: 15 January, 1941 – Port Coldwell, Ontario, Canada:
- Found no access to T site. No buildings in area have basements, and no underground tunnels or other possible entrances could be found.
- Buried metal rods around town to use as triangulation to positively locate T event site.
- Returned to 2033 to survey area.
Between Jumps: November?9, 2033 – Port Coldwell, ON, Canada
- Used GPS to location exact location of T event site, triangulated location off metal rods we buried in 1941.
- Magnetic resonance imagery revealed T site to be in cavern with ancient collapsed entrance.
- Returned to 1940 to open cavern if possible, to identify a trigger for T event, or if trigger could not be found, to permanently seal cavern to prevent possibility of T event.
Second Jump: 3-19 August, 1940 – Port Coldwell, ON, Canada and Genoa, Italy
- Opening cavern revealed ancient Native American artifact, surprisingly with a deep red T tag. Designated artifact Target 1 (T1).
- Research revealed T1 to be ancient holy item that had been defiled. Local legend stated it could be re-sanctified by a woman who leads a saintly life.
- Researched future saints that were alive in 1940, and found 9. Of them, 3 were very ill (unfortunately including all of those in North America). Many others were unavailable due to being either too remote (e.g., Nepal, India, Russia) or reached only by inherently dangerous transportation due to the recent outbreak of WWII (e.g., England, Holland).
- Available, safe, rapid worldwide transportation being limited to a single regular flight from New York to Marseilles, France, we chose to approach one Gianna Beretta Molla (designated person of interest P1), who lived in Genoa, Italy, just 200 miles from Marseilles.
- Accordingly, we went to New York, thence flew via Atlantic Clipper to Lisbon, Portugal and Marseilles, France. In Marseilles we caught a train to Nice, France, intending to continue onward to Genoa.
- However, in Nice, a squad of Nazi soldiers was looking for us, intent on stopping us reaching Genoa. We remain ignorant as to exactly how they knew who we were and where to find us, though the fact of their presence solidified our feeling that we were doing the right thing in taking T1 to Genoa and P1.
- We avoided the Nazi pursuit, and reluctant to resume our train journey, took a boat to La Spezia, Italy, some 50 miles south of Genoa. From there, we traveled overland to Genoa, where we eventually found P1 and convinced her to perform the re-consecration ceremony.
- After the ceremony, T1’s T tag returned to green, so we declared the mission a complete success.
Post-Mission Research:
None requested.
Take-aways – needs for future missions:
- Internal GPS emulation software that works without satellite.
- If item 1 is not possible, GPS satellite access.
